SafePlate® Rosemary Extract

SafePlate® Rosemary Extract is a natural antioxidant with a minimum of 4% carnosic acid. RE 400 can be used in a variety of applications to delay the oxidative process, reduce sensory degradation and extend shelf-life. A great addition to a clean-label formulation as a natural alternative to synthetic antioxidants such as BHA, BHT, TBHQ and more.

  • Usage Level: From 0.1% – 0.3%
  • Minimal impact on flavor and smell
  • Free-flowing and low hygroscopicity
  • Synergistic with SafePlate® Cherry Powder
  • Buffered to a pH ranging from 5.8 – 6.2 ideal for all food products
